Business Consulting

Eastern Europe is full of business possibilities but there are still a lot of obstacles in dealing with local culture and finding suitable local contacts and partners. With our deep local knowledge we can assist businesses setting up locally by:-

  • Helping you through legal business establishment procedures.
  • Locating reliable and suitable partners and contacts in your relevant business area.
  • Performing market research.
  • Translating promotional material into local languages.
  • Arranging for local staff recruitment.
  • Acting in an ongoing project management role once you are set up.

Projects

SME development

In 2002-2003 we undertook extensive research of Small and Medium Sized Companies in Poland and Hungary, as part of a project proposal for SME training funded by the EU Leonardo programme. The researched companies were all working as food suppliers for the Tesco hypermarket chain.

Among other things we found that local SMEs do not have enough time or money for people development programmes and urgently need vocational skill development programmes. It is our intention to develop a competence-based vocational training system for SMEs throughout Eastern Europe.

Outsourcing

In recent years Eastern Europe has seen a lot of development in this area mainly because of cheaper costs. Whether you intend to establish an outsourced call centre or other enterprise, we are able to assist in every stage of your project.

Management Trends Hungary

In summer 2006 we carried out a survey of management trends in Hungary, looking at issues such as work-life balance, performance appraisal and training and development. The results are now available. Please contact info@transculture.eu if you would like to receive a copy. We intend to run this survey again throughout Eastern Europe later in 2007.
